Australian Stephanie Gilmore claimed her sixth World Title in 2014. Her journey began at her local break with a win at the Roxy Pro Gold Coast. In spite of an interference call early in the event, Gilmore fought her way through a fierce field of competitors to earn a victory over Bianca Buitendag (ZAF) in the Final.
