During the J-Bay Open, Championship Tour (CT) surfers Kelly Slater (USA) and Owen Wright (AUS) visited the Chipembere Rhino Foundation, an NGO that works to save rhino threatened by poachers. Just 4,800 African black rhino are left and are classified as critically endangered, while the 20,000 remaining African white rhino are classified as near-threatened.
