Shane Dorian (HAW) won the Big Wave Awards Surfline Performance of the Year for his ability to ride giant waves around the world, including Pe'ahi, Maui's famed big wave break. Here, he explains what makes the Pe'ahi Challenge a unique stop for the Big Wave Tour.

The Pe'ahi Challenge has been greenlit for Sunday, Dec. 6 and will be broadcast LIVE on the World Surf League and WSL App.
