Australian Josh Kerr hadn't had an event win in over five years until Sunday, January 17 when he rose to the top of the podium at the Todos Santos Challenge. Kerr, most known for his high-performance surfing as a member of the Championship Tour, battled his way through three long heats to overcome an elite group of big wave surfers from around the globe to claim victory. With a silver-level swell on tap for the day, Kerr earned 12,000 points to his Big Wave Tour ranking.
