Mick Fanning and Joel Parkinson are enjoying this off season at the Superbank more than most. The waves have been absolutely firing with a perfect ruler-edge sandbar stretching from Snapper all the way past Greenmount.
"It's as good as I've ever seen it," Fanning said last week. And while the latest swell may do some damage to the bank, there's a decent chance it'll still be in good shape with the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro events commence in just under two weeks. Let's hope so. In the meantime, enjoy watching Mick and Joel on an average late-February afternoon.
