Unruly conditions forced another lay day at the Quiksilver and Roxy Pro events, but anticipation is building as the forecast improves, so the WSL desk team dove into the draw on Wednesday's episode of Dawn Patrol.
Four world title contenders will kick things off when competition resumes, with Jordy Smith, Matt Wilkinson, Gabriel Medina and John John Florence surfing in back-to-back heats on the men's side. Johanne Defay and Tatiana Weston-Webb will get things started on the women's event, followed directly by title contenders Tyler Wright and Courtney Conlogue.
