Californian Sage Erickson has found her groove in the back half of the year. In France, her hot streak continued through Round Four, where she took down local hero and Reunion Island native Johanne Defay.
Erickson's new mojo got going at the Vans US Open, where she finished in fifth place. Then, at Trestles, she made it to the Semis for a third-place finish -- her best result of the year so far -- followed by another fifth in Cascais. Now, at the Roxy Pro France, Sage is already into the Quarters and guaranteed a fifth-place finish.
