Update Show: Off for the Day in France

Despite sunny skies and offshore winds, the waves didn't cooperate on Day 7 of the Roxy and Quik Pro. More swell is on tap for Wednesday, and Commissioner Kieren Perrow is anticipating an action-packed finale mid-week.

"We've seen some OK waves out there," he said, "but looking at the forecast right now, we're confident that Wednesday's going to offer more excitement than this and potential for a much better finish, with offshore winds as well. Given that, we're not going to be running heats today. We're going to come back and reassess tomorrow morning."

Semifinals and Finals are still yet to run. At stake is a world title battle royale between World No. 1 and 2 Tyler Wright and Courtney Conlogue in the women's Roxy Pro. On the men's side, World No. 1 John John Florence is working to reinforce his rankings lead in the Quik Pro, with Gabriel Medina hot on his heels.

Tune in Tuesday, October 11 at 8:00 a.m. CEST for the next call.
