John John Florence and Sebastian Zietz made the most of diminishing conditions today at Haleiwa. While both surfers offered impressive displays of rail surfing, Florence's local dominance was obvious. The 2016 World Champ opened strong with a handful of huge rail gouges, earning a quick 8.27. Zietz later found his groove on a clean right, posting an 8-point ride of his own, and advanced to Round Four with the World Champ.
