Duru's Dream Run Continues in Hawaii

Joan Duru entered the Hawaiian Pro ranked No. 4 on the QS, feeling pretty safe about his spot on the 2017 Championship Tour. But the Frenchman didn't leave anything up to chance in the Hawaiian Pro. Duru was quietly taking scalps at first, but in the Quarterfinals no one could deny his consistent backhand attack, which knocked out Brett Simpson and Ethan Ewing, and earned him a trip to the Semifinals. Duru jumped to No. 2 for the effort, passing Leonardo Fioravanti and Kanoa Igarashi in the process.
