44-year-old Kelly Slater looked well on his way to another Pipe Masters Final during his Semifinal match with rookie Kanoa Igarashi on Monday. The 7x Pipe Master was in vintage form in the playful conditions, threading tubes and laying down some meaty hacks at Backdoor. But while his surfing was noteworthy, as usual, he left the door open for Igarashi, who ended up coming back in the dying moments to take the win.
