North Wind Changes the Game at Quiksilver Pro

Conditions were stellar in the early morning hours at Snapper, but after two days of epic surf, something had to give. Around noon, a fresh north wind blew in, tearing up the waves. The green and glassy stuff slowly gave way to a grey and garbled mess.

But adapting on the fly is the key to surviving on Tour and taking advantage of the new situation is the key to success. John John Florence understands this better than anyone these days. He's got the mental shifting thing down. "Oh, it's blown out? Looks just like Pupukea to me."
