Foot Injury Won't Slow Sally

Though she needed three stitches to mend a wound she suffered a few days ago at Bells, there was little doubt that co- Jeep Leader Sally Fitzgibbons would be taking to the water on Saturday when the women's competition resumed. And but for the bootie she wore on her injured left foot, there was little evidence of her being impacted. Sally put the pressure on her co-leader Stephanie Gilmore by beating Tatiana Weston-Webb in Round Four and advancing to the Quarterfinals.
