Thundercloud reef once again took center stage on the WSL Championship Tour as the world's elite surfers descended upon Tavarua and Namotu Islands for the Outerknown Fiji Pro. A 5-to 6-foot pulsing but crossed-up SW swell arrived overnight at Cloudbreak, and provided plenty of opportunities for big scores and deep tubes on day one of the event window. The many faces of Cloudbreak were on display today, with Round One competitors facing everything from oily glass to chunky, side-offshore conditions, but the scores still went through the roof. Here are some of the day's best moments.
