Sage Erickson was beaming brighter than ever Sunday after capturing her career-first Championship Tour victory at the Vans US Open of Surfing - Women's CT in Huntington Beach. The Californian, who's been on every pundit's watch list for years, finally made good on their predictions by going the distance. With the victory Erickson jumped to No. 6 on the Jeep Leaderboard, putting her right up where her true believers feel she belongs. She thanked many of them in her post-victory speech.
