Finals Day at the Vans US Open of Surfing last year did not disappoint. A crowd of over 30,000-strong packed the beach and pier in Huntington Beach to witness the culmination of a week-long, action sports spectacle. A new Women's champ, Sage Erickson, was crowned. It was Erickson's first-ever Championship Tour victory. On the Men's side, Huntington Beach native son Kanoa Igarashi captured his first US Open title in front of thousands of his hometown fans. Chris Coté was joined on set by Strider Wasilewski and Rosy Hodge to recap an eventful closing day to the biggest surfing event in the continental US.
