Maui-born Billy Kemper, who has won the Big Wave Tour's Pe'ahi Challenge twice, brought his warm-water skills to the colder climes of Portugal Saturday at the Nazaré Challenge. For his final wave of Round One, Kemper found this lefthand gem, which earned him a 6.00 and put him in second place. It didn't win him the heat over Lucas Chianca, but it was enough to keep him in the mix and send him to the Semifinals.
