WSL PURE is proud to work with Surfrider Foundation Europe to protect the coastlines of Landes, and all across Europe.
Together with Stephanie Gilmore, Mikey Wright, Pauline Ado, and other Quiksilver and Roxy team riders, Surfrider Foundation Europe led one of their "Ocean Initiatives," in which participants helped clean the local beach, but more importantly, learned about the impacts of plastic pollution on our ocean.
Founded by three-time world champion Tom Curren, Surfrider Foundation Europe works to defend, conserve and sustainably manage the ocean, the coastline, the waves, and the people who enjoy them. The Surfrider Foundation Europe network includes over 1,700 volunteers, 10,500 members and 120,000 supporters gathered in local chapters working across Europe. Learn more at surfrider.eu
