Championship Tour surfer Bede Durbidge (AUS) just became the newest ambassador for Komunity Project, an Australian-based destination for surf hardware and accessories. He'll be joining women's Championship Tour surfer Nikki Van Dijk (AUS) and 1999 World Champion Mark Occhilupo (AUS) on the brand's team.
"I'm so excited to be joining the Komunity team," said Durbidge. "I absolutely love their products and I'm looking forward to bringing out my signature pad in the near future."
Komunity Project was founded by 11-time World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) in 2006 and has since become a wholly owned Australian company.
"We are stoked to have Bede on the team as one of our Ambassador," Komunity Project's CEO Paul Munten in an official statement. "Bede's quiet nature and lifestyle is respected by all in the industry and he is a role model for young grommets all around the globe."
