2015 WSL JAPAN Tour vent, Men's QS 1,500 event "MURASAKI SHONAN OPEN 2015 commenced this morning at Kugenuma Beach, Fujisawa, Kanagawa.

The Victory at Sea, Heat 11 for the round of 64 in actions this morning and Ian Crane (USA) againe 7.25 and 5.75 pointer to make a combined score of 13.00 points to take top score in this morning. In the round of 64 Heat 14 Masatoshi Ohno (JPN) scores a 8.00 with a back up 4.75 points total 12.75 takes the highest wave score of the day and second combined score of the day.

The event boasts a long waiting period of 7days to put the athletes in action only on the best conditions on offer.
Event venue Kugenuma Kaigan in Fujisawa,Kanagawa is located in the center of the Shonan area where the area is famed nation wide as a fine resort area centered with the famous Enoshima Island.
Last year 2014 Shonan Open attracted over 18,000 fans to the event as the largest surf event in Japan and this year again to be held in the long weekend including the National Holiday, this year the event is expected to attract even more fans for the 2015 edition along with the conjunction events. The beaches opened nation wide on July 1st and means the summer season is here. Don't miss all the fun at the event.
The QS1, 500 events start the waiting period July 14th.
Tuesday and on Saturday, July 19th the Longboard single fin masters and JPBA event by the finest body boarders will on stand by as a conjunction event.
