LA-based alt rock group Bad Suns featured in the Billabong Pro Tahiti highlights to add even more edge to the heart-pounding montage.
The Bad Suns, comprised of friends Christo Bowman, Gavin Bennett, Miles Morris and Ray Libby, was formed in 2012 and was quickly picked up by indie label Vagrant Records. Within two years the Los Angeles-based rock group released the album Language & Perspective under the guidance of producer Eric Palmquist (The Mars Volta, Wavves, Trash Talk). The album was a full length version of their debut EP Transpose and featured hits "Cardiac Arrest" and "We Move Like the Ocean".

"It's pretty incredible what you can accomplish with time, work, and patience," frontman Christo Bowman said. "Playing our songs to receptive audiences, across the country, has been surreal for us; it's what we've always dreamed of. We're excited for people to hear the album that we've made, and then come experience it in a live setting.
