It was a year of years in the big wave surfing world. Multiple swells pounded Hawaii, the West Coast of the US and even Europe in the North Atlantic. And among all the days of giant surf, Shane Dorian was on fire in nearly every session he was in the water for earning the Surfline Performance Award for the second consecutive year.
