Ewing's QS Climb Continues with Quarterfinal Berth

The 17-year-old Australian phenom is enjoying his coming out party on the QS. The young grom advanced on Saturday with a win over former CT surfer Mitch Coleborn with the best wave of the heat.

Ewing has already jumped to No. 3 on the QS, and he's still alive and thriving in Huntington Beach heading into the final day.

He'll face fellow Australian Ryan Callinan in Quarterfinal 1.
