Tanner Gudauskas fought hard for his wildcard spot in the Hurley Pro. Last month, the San Clemente local had to get past an intimidating crew of locals to earn the honor and on Thursday, he represented them well. In his Round One match against Matt Wilkinson and Conner Coffin, Gudauskas scored a 10-point ride, earning roaring cheers from the beach. The huge score lifted him to victory in the heat, and gave him a fast-track trip to Round Three.
