Banting pulled a huge upset over Joel Parkinson in Heat 4, adding to the morning carnage that saw Kelly Slater and Jordy Smith go down. But Wilson put a stop to the bleeding of red jerseys, and Toledo followed suit with a whopping 15.67 heat total, leading the pack.
