Highlights: Day Two at the Corona Open J-Bay

Just two heats hit the water on Day Two of the Corona Open J-Bay. And in the end, the No. 1 and No. 3 ranked surfers on the Jeep Leaderboard walked away with victories. But it wasn't easy for either Matt Wilkinson or Jordy Smith. Wilkinson, wearing the Jeep Leader's yellow jersey for the first time since he relinquished it at this same event last year, might have had the easier go of it against Micheal February, salting away his win with a solid backup wave in the diminishing conditions at Supertubes. Smith, on the other hand, survived a street fight against Jeffreys Bay local Dale Staples, who Smith admitted was probably the most dangerous man in the entire event had the waves been 6-foot and firing. The big bru's margin of victory over Staples was a mere .40 points.
