Since then Medina has evolved into the most successful Brasilian surfer to ever grace the CT. To date he's amassed two World Titles and 13 CT victories. Italo De Souza and Adriano de Souza each have a title to their credit as well, but Medina's been the man to beat up until now.
Barreling into the 2020 season ranked Number Two in the world, he has designs on adding a third Title to his resume, as well as potentially winning the first Olympic gold medal for surfing.
