Earning the nickname the "Queen Of Haleiwa", expectations were very high for Bettylou's rookie year on tour. Unfornatualey she did not make the mid-season cut. Being regulated back to the Challenger Series, Bettylou has gained strength, mental toughness, and experience. Winning the US Open Of Surfing catapulted her toward the top of the rankings, now with 1 event left at her home break, Haleiwa, Bettylou Sakura Johnson now has the dream of rejoining the Championship Tour within her grasp...
