COOLANGATTA, QLD, AUS (Thursday, March 30, 2023) - The World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT) Australian leg will see Hydralyte become the official "Oral Rehydration" partner for the 2023 and 2024 seasons thanks to a new partnership between the two organisations.

The new two-year agreement will see Hydralyte lean into community initiatives, becoming a regional partner of WSL One Ocean and a supporter of OneWave, an organisation that helps bring colour to mental health. In the lead-up to the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach presented by Bonsoy, OneWave will run 'Free the Funk' programs in six schools across the Surf Coast, impacting more than 2,000 students along with a Fluro Friday activation during the event period.

"We are thrilled to welcome Hydralyte as a new partner to the WSL," said WSL APAC President Andrew Stark. "The Hydralyte product is an ideal rehydration solution for all surfers from recreational to elite. It's a testament to their brand and company values to see Hydralyte support the WSL One Ocean initiative and also join the WSL in encouraging openness and discussion around mental health through OneWave. Mental Health is a real issue in society, and making it easier for people to talk about problems they may have is a great way to address mental health issues. We look forward to seeing this partnership flourish into the future and sincerely thank Hydralyte for their support."

The partnership will also see Hydralyte hold exclusive category rights at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy and the Western Australia Margaret River Pro.
