The Catch Up Day 6: Established names settle the score, Finals Day awaits in Ballito

It's Finals Day time at the Ballito Pro Presented by O'Neill after proven women halted the rising youth and men's performances kept pushing the scale.

The women's Round of 16 set the tone for competition with Tya Zebrowski before CT veteran Sally Fitzgibbons salvaged her campaign in the dying moments. Kiara Goold laid down an 8.00 in her Round of 16 bout, plus Nadia Erostarbe kept surging before reigning WSL World Junior Champ Francisca Veselko kept pushing. But the Quarterfinals witnessed the youth come to a halt with Fitzgibbons and Yolanda Hopkins turning in brilliant showings.

South Africa's own Luke Thompson continues to surge and takes his local support crew to Finals Day as the first South African to do so since 2017. Oscar Barry launched himself into the Semifinals before Jorgann Couzinet and George Pittar added their name to the 2025 Ballito Pro title contenders. Finals Day awaits with major points and CT qualification momentum on the line.
