The Hurley judges combed through hundreds of submissions, and whittled the field of Wildcard hopefuls down to just 16. Then, the fans took over.

It's down to just two surfers: Hawaii's Dusty Payne is going head-to-head with Costa Rica's Carlos Munoz for a spot in the Hurley Pro at Trestles this fall.
