ASP's New Name in 2015: World Surf League

With the support of the surfing community, CEO Paul Speaker announces that at the start of the 2015 season the ASP will change its name to the World Surf League (WSL). In a letter to the community, Speaker explains that the new name is easier to understand and gets the ASP on a better track to serve fans, athletes and partners, and to grow the great sport of professional surfing worldwide.
