Target Maui Pro highlights to air on ABC's World of X Games Dec. 13
The grande finale of the 2014 World Championship Tour (WCT) season and the conclusion of women's World Title race is coming to U.S. television. A recap of the Target Maui Pro will air on ABC's World of X Games Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT and will feature all the highlights from the final stop on the elite women's Tour.
After a five-year hiatus from elite-level competition in Hawaii, the women's WCT returned to Honolua Bay, Maui, to battle for the Title. Collectively, the Top 17 scored 10 nine-point rides and a Perfect 10 leading up to a high-scoring, high-pressure Final between Carissa Moore (HAW) and World Title contender Tyler Wright (AUS).

The Target Maui Pro also saw the conclusion of the women's World Title race. With Wright and Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) both needing to win to overtake World No. 1 Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) to have a shot at the Title, the Championship came down to the last second of the Final. It was one of the most intense conclusions to the race in surfing history.

With the women's season wrapped up, it's on to crowning a men's Champ. The 2014 men's World Title will be decided at the the Billabong Pipe Masters, which will air LIVE daily on the ASP homepage December 8-20, 2014.
