Day 1 of the J-Bay Open was filled with incredible performances as the full spectrum of Championship Tour stars returned to Supertubes.

Mick Fanning and Julian Wilson led the way, looking determined to get back to the Final they weren't able to finish in 2015. But Kelly Slater, John John Florence, Gabe Medina and Jordy Smith are just a few who hope to disrupt their plans.
