The World Surf League (WSL) is dedicated to celebrating the world's best surfing on the world's best waves through a variety of best-in-class audience platforms. The WSL is a truly global sports and media company with regional offices in Australia, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Europe.
In 2016, Kelly Slater Wave Company (KSWC), joined the WSL as an innovative wave technology company. KSWC is the first to develop a formula that combines cutting-edge science, engineering, and design to create the longest, open-barrel, high-performance wave in existence.
In 2018, WSL announced the creation of WSL Studios, focused on being the home of live competitive surf content and the premier place to create short-form, TV series, documentaries and feature films oriented around surfing, surf-lifestyle and ocean conservancy.

Broadcast and ProductionAssistant Video EditorWorld Surf League HQ
The Assistant Video Editor role is a pivotal team member of the Post Production and Broadcast team at the WSL. This role is tasked with logging footage for editors and producers, as well as preparing, transcoding, and uploading WSL video assets for our licensees across Broadcast and live events. Additionally, the Assistant Editor will be responsible for organizing and preparing media for archival (LTO and nearline storage), scheduling post production resources for editors and clients, as well as some light video editing and graphics work.

Surf RanchChef LeadWaveCo. Lemoore
The Chef Lead is responsible for the execution and preparation of menu items, receiving and processing deliveries, cleaning, and supporting the culinary department as requested. This includes ensuring the timing and presentation of all food served to guests. The position is responsible for ensuring quality meals and service for Surf Ranch guests during their stay. The Surf Ranch Lead Chef must communicate frequently with the Executive Chef in order to have a thorough understanding of the guests that are coming to visit Surf Ranch and be knowledgeable of any dietary or allergy restrictions. This position will assist the oversight of the day's activities in the kitchen, educate and train team members, assist planning menus as needed, and maintain a kitchen culture in line with company core values. This role will report to the Surf Ranch Executive Chef.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen facilities meeting company standards and health code regulations

The Director of Coaching plays an integral role in upholding and implementing the standard of coaching both in and out of the water at Surf Ranch. Under the direct supervision of the General Manager the Director of Coaching will perform various duties at the Surf Ranch facility. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of day to day operations as it pertains to coaching, Surf Coach duties, as well as, training all Surf Coaches to the Surf Ranch Coaching Curriculum. The Director of Coaching will work closely with the Director of Surf Experience and directly with the Surf Team Managers to provide guests with a curated coaching experience that emphasizes progression during their time at Surf Ranch. The Director of Coaching must have an expert level understanding of all ‘wave system’ operations, the Surf Ranch Wave profiles offered, as well as all lifeguard duties as they pertain to emergency communication and response.

Hospitality Server staff are responsible for providing a quality guest experience by properly serving guests meals and refreshments throughout the day. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Operations/AGM and Hospitality Leads, the Hospitality Server will perform various duties at the Surf Ranch facility both guest facing and non-guest facing. This includes serving meals, clearing dishes, interacting with guests, and maintaining the bar. Housekeeping positively represents Surf Ranch through the daily cleaning of assigned space’s and lodging units as per the established standards of cleanliness and through interaction with guests.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Vacuums, sweeps, mops, and cleans flooring in lodging rooms
- Scrubs, disinfects and deodorizes bathtubs / showers, toilets, wash basins, wastebaskets, tile and other bathroom and / or vanity fixtures and furnishings in the guest rooms.

The World Surf League connects millions of fans across the globe to live competition and surf related content through our own and operated website and apps. We are looking for a highly motivated, self directed Digital Product Manager to play an integral role in shaping the fan experience. In this position, you will represent your customers in building both the external facing features and the tools to manage them. You will establish relationships with internal teams, especially with Editorial and Broadcast, as well as vendors to deliver high quality live and non-live experiences for our fans. This position will be an individual contributor reporting directly to the Vice-President of Product Strategy.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Understand the needs of your customers through interviews, surveys, competitive analyses, site metrics, and third party research.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Security Guard for the graveyard shift at our Lemoore, CA, Surf Ranch location. The overall safety and security of Surf Ranch is critical to the site, staff, and guests, and the Security Guard is responsible for this undertaking. Under the direct supervision of the HSSE Manager, the Security Guard works to keep Surf Ranch safe and secure at all times. This position is responsible for all vehicles and patrons that arrive and depart the site daily. The security of Surf Ranch is critical and can directly affect the overall guest experience. The Surf Ranch Security Guard must have a thorough understanding of the Surf Ranch property lines and all entrances and exits on site. - Interface with guests and employees as they enter Surf Ranch through the service and main entrances.

- Patrol Surf Ranch on a consistent basis.
- Monitor the perimeter fence throughout the day and night.
- Intervene and resolve security threats or issues as they arise.
- Guard position will most likely be the first visual touchpoint upon guest arrival so friendliness, and good attitude are important per Surf Ranch ‘guest service trail’.
- Understand the Surf Ranch property lines, easements etc.

The Surf Guide plays an integral role in guest safety and guest experience both in and out of the water at Surf Ranch. Under the direct supervision of the Surf Team Supervisor and Manager, the Surf Guide will perform various duties at the Surf Ranch facility. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating guest surfing, enforcing rules, and providing quality guest service. The Surf Guide will work directly with guests to provide them with the best possible surfing experience during their time at Surf Ranch. The Surf Guide must have a thorough understanding of all ‘wave system’ operations including a working knowledge of the Surf Ranch Wave, as well as lifeguard duties as they pertain to emergency communication and response.

The VP, Controller must be able to think strategically, as well as ensure efficient and effective day-to-day accounting operations in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, and in accordance with US and international statutory and tax compliance requirements
- Lead the day-to-day accounting support for the WSL and KSWC, including oversight of the general accounting ledger, billing and receivables, payables, payroll, capital assets, treasury management, and financial reporting
- Oversee the monthly close timeline and process across WSL and KSWC global operations, including review of journal entries, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations
