Frenchman Jeremy Flores showed no mercy in his Round Two heat against World No. 3 Matt Wilkinson. Wilko desperately needed a win to keep his already-fragile World Title campaign alive. Flores had other plans, and threaded his way through back-to-back barrels, earning two excellent scores fewer than 10 minutes into the heat. While the Australian posted an impressive 8-point ride of his own, Jeremy's 17-point heat total left him scrambling for a backup score.
With Medina and Florence safely into Round Three, Wilko's World Title dreams will have to wait until 2017.
