Griffin Colapinto seems to have a knack for performing when the pressure is on. As he showed with his massive Hail-Mary air at Haleiwa during the Vans Triple Crown, the Californian isn't afraid to pull out all the stops when heats are on the line.
On Monday at the World Junior Championship in Kiama, Australia, Colapinto took a similar approach during his Semifinal clash with Hawaiian Finn McGill. After trading average scores for most of the heat, Griffin finally found the Bombo beach ramp he was after. He clicked this clean full-rotator for a massive 9.6 and cruised into the Final.
