Joe Turpel, Strider Wasilewski and Kaipo Guerrero talk us through another incredible day of action at the Vans US Open of Surfing, where Hawaii natives Cody Young and Brisa Hennessy claimed the top spots in the Junior events. Young edged Australia's Reef Heazlewood for his big victory, while Hennessy got past former champion Caroline Marks.
Meanwhile, quarterfinalists were decided in the mens' QS 10,000, and not surprisingly two-time event champion Filipe Toledo and local favorite Kanoa Igarashi are part of the mix. Among those joining them will be Australian Josh Kerr, Californian Pat Gudauskas, and South African Michael February.
