The Billabong Pipe Masters got going today after two lay days over the weekend, and the World Title race is already back in full swing. John John Florence, who's chasing a back-to-back Title trophy, advanced to Round Three, while his closest rival, Gabriel Medina, will face the do-or-die Round Two after failing to win in Round One. Jordy Smith meanwhile, World No. 3, made it through, while Julian Wilson, World No. 4, got called for an interference that cost him his Round One heat. At the end of the day, Martin Potter and Joe Turpel brake down Monday's events.
