Santa Barbara's Lakey Peterson lost a close Semifinal against South African Bianca Buitendag at Snapper Rocks today.
Reigning two-time ASP Women's World Champion Carissa Moore was the form surfer of the event, consistently racking up high 9s throughout the early rounds. The Hawaiian ultimately fell to eventual winner Stephanie Gilmore.
Carissa Moore will look to regroup for the upcoming event at the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro in Western Australia.
ASP Dream Tour sophomore Bianca Buitendag advanced through to her first elite tour Final today, finishing Runner-Up at the Roxy Pro Gold Coast.
