After a close-call Quarterfinal victory, Lakey Peterson (USA) took to the water to face No. 1 Carissa Moore (HAW).

Tyler Wright (AUS) continued to campaign for a repeat Rio victory.
Coco Ho (HAW) posted solid scores to start but fell flat in the second half of the Quarters against Fitzgibbons.
