The Swatch Girls Pro France and Pro Junior will return to the iconic beach breaks of Les Landes in France from August 20-24, 2014. As an ASP 6-Star event, the highest rating on the ASP Qualification Series, it attracts an international field of the world's best women surfers including newly signed Swatch Proteam surfer Justine Dupont.

"I'm excited to be part of the Swatch Proteam,” Dupont said. "And also to be able to surf my local breaks at the Swatch Girls Pro France.” Dupont has risen to prominence as one of the world's best big wave riders, but her main goal is to qualify for the elite ASP World Championship Tour. "I'm hoping to do well in front of all the French surfing fans and use the Swatch Girls Pro France as a springboard to reach my goal of qualifying for 2015."

One of Dupont's main threats will come from the two-time defending event winner Courtney Conlogue. "It's one of my favorite events, held in a special part of the world," Conlogue said. "I have won it the last two years and am aiming for a three-peat (three wins in a row) in 2014. I have put in a lot of time there and it feels like home."

Held at the height of the European summer and now in its 5th consecutive year, the Swatch Girls Pro France 2014 is known for the quality of the waves and the incredible atmosphere. Out of the water, DJ's, and the “Sounds of Summer” party provide the entertainment once the action is finished in the water. "the waves and the organization are amazing," Dupont said. "You surf in bikinis. It's summer. Everybody is happy."
