With the Jeep Surf Ranch Pro presented by Adobe upon us and the premiere of "The Ultimate Surfer" coming up on ABC this August, we caught up with the show's stars Luke Davis and Anastasia Ashley to see who they were putting on their Surf Ranch Fantasy squads.

Both surfers have years of experience competing against the world's best and know the game inside and out. Davis, who grew up in San Clemente alongside the likes of Kolohe Andino and Griffin Colapinto, is also one of the most stylish freesurfers on the planet. He was right there alongside Billy Kemper for their ill-fated score in Morocco, which was subsequently the basis for the WSL Studio's docu-series "Billy."

Ashley, another surfer from San Clemente, has been a longtime battler on the WSL Qualifying Series, starting her career back in 2008. Alongside her competitive results, Ashley was also gaining recognition and coverage for her exploits in big waves, most noticeably at Waimea and Hawaii's Outer Reefs. She received multiple nominations for the XXL Awards, as well as a nomination for a brutal wipeout at the Mexican big wave spot Puerto Escondido.

Luke Davis

Men's Power Surfer: I think Griffin Colapinto is finally starting to find his groove on Tour and is extremely well-rounded. He Is sort of one of those guys that can do it all. I'm putting my money on Griff!

Women's Power Surfer: Carissa Moore is always in the conversation for one of the best female surfers ever. Her forehand wrap is second to none. I think her backside surfing also suits the pool very well.

Men's Sleeper: I think Ethan Ewing has a shot to do well in this event. Things haven't really come together for him lately, but he has crazy flow and technique.

Women's Sleeper: I think Sage Erickson is another girl that could do well. She grew up surfing right-hand point breaks, so she's obviously comfortable surfing that type of wave. If she puts it together, I think she could be a threat.

Anastasia Ashley

Men's Power Surfer: Italo Ferreira. He is on fire right now and is the guy to beat. I love his energy and what he brings to every event.

Women's Power Surfer: Caroline Marks is the one to beat at the pool. Her turns are looking insane and she's able to time the wave perfectly.

Men's Sleeper Pick: I'm excited to see Jack Robinson's debut at the pool. His backside is dangerous and want to see what he can do and mix things up.

Women's Sleeper Pick: I think Courtney Conlogue is someone who could do really well at this event, she is powerful and I think if she can line up everything else she can be dangerous at the pool.
