An incredible Finals Day belonged to Erin Brooks and Mikey McDonagh as their performances in pumping conditions raised competition to another level. Brooks' ridiculous surge to the Final included a perfect 10 in the Semifinals over former CTer Isabella Nichols, while later taking down another former CTer Luana Silva in the Final. For McDonagh, a dream run led to overcoming Challenger Series threats Josh Burke and Dakoda Walters before facing defending event victor Samuel Pupo and stomping his authority with the entire beach behind the 22-year-old. Next up, the GWM Sydney Pro presented by Bonsoy starting May 9 - 16 awaits as the next proving ground for the CT dream.
