With the 2015 Roxy Pro France kicking off October 6, warm up for Atlantic action with the standout performances from last year. Courtney Conlogue (USA), who just won the Cascais Women's Pro, belted the first nine of the event at Hossegor in 2014.
Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) earned a 9.00 on her third wave in Round 1.
In her first 2014 event without the yellow jersey, a determined Carissa Moore (HAW) claimed the highest nine-point ride of the opening round -- a 9.43.
Lakey Peterson (USA) earned a 9.33 in Round 2 of the Roxy Pro to avoid early elimination.
Tyler Wright (AUS) earned her first nine-pointer of the event when she carved up a right for a 9.00 in the Semifinals.
Wright's tear in the Roxy Pro Final started with a 9.50 on her opening wave.
Wright put up an initial backup score of a 9.03 on her second ride.
Wright hit her third consecutive nine-point ride on her third wave, though it would not end up in her already-stellar heat total.
Wright threw away a second nine-pointer when she scored a 9.70 late in the heat. She leaves France with five nines for the event and 11 for the season.
