CAPBRETON, France (Monday, March 18, 2013) - An already classic stop-over on the ASP World Tour schedule, the 2013 Swatch Girls Pro France has just been confirmed and will run from August 21-25, 2013. The ASP 6-Star Women's event and 2-Star Women's Pro Junior moves dates this season to enjoy the full French summer vibes on the iconic beachbreaks of Hossegor / Seignosse.

In its fourth year of existence, the Swatch Girls Pro France will again host over a hundred of the best female surfers on the planet. The $40,000 prize-purse and important ranking points on offer will be disputed amongst both established surfing superstars and hopeful up-and-comers dreaming of a maiden qualification for the Elite ASP World Championship Tour.

Past winners of the event include 5x World Champion Stephanie Gilmore (AUS), Sally Fitzgibbons (AUS) and Courtney Conlogue (USA) and have elevated the competition as one of the most anticipated events for both surfers and the community of surf enthusiasts all-over the old continent.

But all eyes will also turn to local hero and Swatch Team rider Pauline Ado (FRA) as well as the European crew of girls who keep pushing their level and start to make a name for themselves on the International scene. Ado will try to better her 2012 quarter-final and access that final-four stage that she's left to crack in Hossegor.

"It's definitely a special event for me," Ado stated. "It's in France and one of my sponsors event so I really want to try and do good there. Every year we're treated like princesses at the Swatch Girls Pro and all the girls love coming to Hossegor. With those new dates in August I'm sure we'll have so much more people coming to the beach in Seignosse !"

With free access to the beach and a long list of after-surf activities, the Swatch Girls Pro France will be one of the summer's highlights in Hossegor / Seignosse.
