Tyler Wright (AUS) earned her first nine-pointer at the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro -- a 9.13 in Round 3.
Wright followed up her runner-up finish at Margaret River with continued aggressive surfing at the Rip Curl Women's Pro Bells Beach, starting with a 9.00 in Round 2.
Wright advanced into the Final at Bells thanks, in part to a 9.00 in the Semis.
Wright found a nine-point ride on her 11th wave in the Quarterfinals of the Rio Women's Pro.
Wright scored a 9.00 in Round 4 of the U.S. Open of Surfing. She'd go on to win the event, her first title of 2014.
Wright's 9.00 in the Quarterfinals of the Swatch Women's Pro Trestles wasn't enough to see her advance.

Needing to win the final event of the season to take the World Crown, Wright came into the Target Maui Pro on fire, earning a 9.23 in Round 1.
Wright belted a second nine-point ride on her next wave, bringing her heat total to 18.90, giving her a direct advance into Round 3, and keeping her Title hopes alive.
