Birds of Tokyo, Lanterns
Brazilian prodigy Gabriel Medina put together an impressive come-from-behind performance to win the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast over Joel Parkinson. (Song: "Lanterns" by Birds of Tokyo)

Australian indie act Birds of Tokyo were part of the backdrop at Snapper Rocks with their track "Lanterns." Following two acclaimed albums, their self-titled third studio release spent over eight months in the Australian Top 20 and was certified double platinum.

Bear Hands, Giants
Some of the best moments from Rd 3 & 4 of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, set to the song "Giants" by Bear Hands.

Bear Hands are a post-punk and indie rock band from New York. Formed in 2006, the band signed with Cantora Records in 2010 upon the release of its single, "What a Drag." After releasing their debut LP Burning Bush Supper Club in 2010, Bear Hands toured as the opening act for Passion Pit, Gza and We Were Promised Jetpacks.

Perservation Hall, That's It
Clean barrels light up Barra Da Tijuca at the 2014 Billabong Rio Pro.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band was named after the venue in New Orleans' French Quarter and the band is known for performing jazz in the city's famous style. The musicians in the group have varied during the years since the founding of the Hall in the early 1960s. The band performs at its namesake in the French Quarter and tours worldwide.

Switchfoot, I Wanna Go

Billabong Pipe Masters

Interpol, All the Rage Back Home
The biggest moments from the big show at Pipe -- Wilson a Pipe Master, Medina a World Champ.

Interpol made a splash when they arrived on the New York City music scene in 1997. With a sound similar to Joy Division and other post-punk bands, their debut album on 2002 sent them to the top of Pitchfork's favorite albums of the year, and to the Top 10 for Europe's, NME. "All the Rage Back Home" is off their latest album, "El Pintor," released in August.
