Andino Runs Out of Luck Against Medina in the Semis

With less than a minute remaining in their Semifinal heat, the Californian and the World No. 2 went to battle on a pair of lefts. Gabe already had an 8.83 to his name, while Kolohe was still searching for an excellent score. With the Jeep leader already out of the contest, Medina smelled blood. He went to work on his rail, and flowed his way to the highest scoring wave of the heat (9.00). Kolohe could only come up with a 7.70. When the dust settled, the Californian was left in a combination scenario.
