After a controversial Round Two heat, WSL officials denied Kolohe Andino's protest and request for a re-surf after his loss to Jadson Andre. During the heat, Andino was dropped in on by a non-competitor while in the barrel, impeding his attempt to exit a long tube ride at the tail-end of the Supertubes section. Commissioner Kieren Perrow ruled there was not enough conclusive video evidence to force both surfers back into the water to surf a second heat. In this clip, Perrow explains the decision to Rosy Hodge.
